Chilling Details Emerge in Mustafa Amir Murder Case; Armaghan Allegedly Used Coin Toss to Decide Victim’s Fate

Startling details have surfaced in the Mustafa Amir murder case, with the prime suspect, Armaghan, reportedly admitting to killing the victim in what he described as a “dramatic style.”

According to police sources, Armaghan revealed in his statement that he conducted three separate coin tosses before taking Mustafa’s life. Initially, after striking Mustafa with a rod, the victim attempted to escape, but Armaghan stopped him, declaring that a coin toss would determine his fate—heads meant freedom, tails meant death. When the toss landed on tails, he struck Mustafa again.

A second toss yielded the same result, prompting another attack. The suspect then took the victim to a secluded location for a third toss, this time deciding whether to set him on fire. When the coin once again landed as he wished, he allegedly carried out the act, telling the victim, “Your death is decreed by fate.”

In a separate development, police have uncovered potential links to advanced weaponry and an online scheme during their investigation.

SSP Aneel Haider Minhas of the Anti-Violent Crime Cell (AVCC) has recommended transferring the case to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to probe possible connections to terror financing and illicit money transfers through hawala networks.

Authorities are also examining evidence suggesting the presence of sophisticated arms, with the DIG of Investigation expected to brief the Sindh IGP on the matter.
