Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has hailed the federal budget presented by Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif as relief-oriented and focused on welfare. In a statement, she emphasized that it aims at extending benefits of economic stability to people.
The CM paid tribute to the prime minister and his team for introducing a budget focused on public relief and economic growth. She said the time had come for the dividends of economic improvement to reach common man, adding that the budget reflected government’s commitment to easing financial pressures on citizens.
Maryam Nawaz also highlighted measures aimed at reducing burden on salaried class, along with initiatives for industrial and agricultural development. These would usher in a new era of opportunities and convenience for people, she said. She expressed confidence that the welfare budget would enable all segments of society to become part of country’s economic progress and prosperity.
