A horrific accident near Kathore on Karachi’s Super Highway claimed at least 12 lives, including women and children, on Wednesday. The crash, involving an oil tanker, a passenger bus, and multiple vehicles, occurred due to overspeeding and vehicle instability. Preliminary findings suggest that only minor damage occurred to the oil tanker but noted no significant fire incidents have been reported so far. Authorities are currently examining all evidence meticulously and will take legal action against any responsible parties if negligence is confirmed.
