Prime Minister Viktor Orban received strong backing from Czech and Slovak leaders ahead of Hungary’s parliamentary election. Both Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico and Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis praised Orban as a champion of national interests.

Opinion polls suggest Orban could lose in Sunday’s vote after 16 years in power, amid clashes with Brussels over EU law rules.
