Deputy PM Dar Promises Resolution in Response to US House

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar announced that the government has taken notice of the resolution passed by the US House of Representatives regarding Pakistan.

Speaking in the National Assembly, Dar stated that the government will draft a resolution in response, which will be shared with both opposition and treasury benches. He called for unity and sovereignty among the members.

Dar dismissed the notion that Pakistan faces international isolation, highlighting Pakistan’s election as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council as evidence of global confidence. He emphasized that this position will be used to address the Kashmir dispute and the situation in Gaza.

He reaffirmed the importance of relations with Afghanistan, noting ongoing contacts and plans for a visit to Kabul.
