The MICHELIN Guide has unveiled its 2025 Dubai selection, marking a transformative moment in the city’s culinary journey. For the first time, two Dubai establishments have been awarded the prestigious Three MICHELIN Stars: Trèsind Studio and FZN by Björn Frantzén.
This year’s edition features 119 restaurants across 35 cuisines, reflecting a 72.5% increase from the inaugural 2022 guide. The expansion underscores Dubai’s rapid ascent as a global gastronomic hub.
Historic Accolades:
- Trèsind Studio, led by Chef Himanshu Saini, becomes the first Indian restaurant globally to receive Three MICHELIN Stars. The restaurant offers an immersive dining experience, reimagining traditional Indian dishes with contemporary flair.
- FZN by Björn Frantzén, a new entrant in Dubai’s dining scene, also secures Three MICHELIN Stars. This achievement makes Chef Frantzén the first chef worldwide to hold Three MICHELIN Stars for three different restaurants.
- Two new restaurants have been awarded One MICHELIN Star, bringing the total to 14.
- Five new establishments have received the Bib Gourmand distinction, recognizing quality dining at moderate prices.
The MICHELIN Guide Dubai 2025 selection was announced during a ceremony at Address Sky View hotel, celebrating the city’s diverse and dynamic culinary landscape.
“Dubai’s rapid transformation into a global culinary hub is testament to its diversity and excellence,” said Gwendal Poullennec, International Director of the MICHELIN Guide.
His Excellency Issam Kazim, CEO of the Dubai Corporation for Tourism and Commerce Marketing, remarked, “The launch of the fourth edition of the MICHELIN Guide Dubai, including the naming of the city’s first MICHELIN three-starred restaurants, marks another pivotal moment in Dubai’s journey as a world-class gastronomic destination.”
