Saad Edhi Returned to Pakistan After Israeli Detention

Israeli Forces Interception of Aid Convoy

Reports indicate that Israeli forces intercepted the international humanitarian convoy during its mission to deliver aid and express solidarity with the people of Gaza. Several participants from different countries were detained, including Pakistani nationals.

48 Hours Detention and Alleged Harsh Conditions

Saad Edhi stated that he and other participants were held in detention for 48 hours after being stopped approximately 200 nautical miles from Gaza. He claimed that around 180 people were part of the convoy and alleged that dozens of participants were injured during the incident.

Mistreatment and Hunger Strike During Detention

Edhi further alleged that detainees faced harsh conditions and he was subjected to mistreatment while in Israeli custody. He also undertook a hunger strike before being transferred to an airport and allowed to leave.
