Reports indicate that eight judges of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) have received suspicious letters, prompting security concerns within the judicial community.
According to judicial sources, two judges’ staff discovered mysterious powder inside the letters, prompting law enforcement intervention. A team from Islamabad Police is currently examining the contents and determining the nature of the powder.
The letters, allegedly signed by a woman named Resham, wife of Waqar Hussain, also contained a threatening sign. Promptly, the Islamabad High Court summoned the inspector general of Islamabad police and the deputy inspector general (DIG) of security to address the security breach.
