Former Pentagon official Christopher Mellon has stated that UFOs or UAPs have been a recurring issue at American military bases. According to Mellon, these incidents occur annually both domestically and overseas. He believes the objects’ presence is not merely for espionage but are also intentionally taunting the U.S. military.
Mellon provided examples of such encounters occurring on navy ships at sea, where the objects would approach close enough to shine a light into the bridge, seemingly daring the crew to respond. This suggests an aggressive intent rather than covert surveillance.
