Farazur Rehman, Chairman and Founder of the Pakistan Business Group (PBG) and former President of the Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI), has announced his unwavering support for the Businessmen Group (BMG).

He highlighted the critical state of the nation, arguing that forming a new faction at this juncture would be a mistake. Rehman emphasized his commitment to the principles established by SM Muneer, who initiated the alliance.

Rehman acknowledged that while there is always room for improvement and elections are a democratic avenue for voicing concerns, consistency is not always feasible. He pointed out that after the leadership of late Siraj Teli and S M Muneer, the current leadership faces extensive challenges, making unity and solidarity crucial. He expressed optimism that BMG candidates this time are predominantly young, hoping they will be given the opportunity to work effectively.

Rehman stressed that Karachi, as the backbone of Pakistan, needs its infrastructure rebuilt from the ground up. He proposed forming separate committees for each industrial zone, business area, and residential locality to address issues promptly. He warned that those participating in elections merely to obtain membership cards should reconsider, as the era of mere tokenism is over.

Farazur Rehman reaffirmed his full support for Zubair Motiwala and the BMJ, promising his continued backing for their efforts.
