Federal Budget 2026-27 Likely Unveiled June 10, Says DPM Dar

Pakistan’s coalition government is set to unveil the federal budget for the fiscal year 2026-27 on June 10. This decision was made during pre-budget consultations between Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, and senior PPP leaders.

The discussions focused on spending priorities and economic policy objectives for FY2026-27, including the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) and broader fiscal sustainability measures. The meeting also reviewed public welfare measures and development initiatives aimed at promoting inclusive growth.

Key figures in attendance included Murad Ali Shah, Naveed Qamar, Sherry Rehman, Saleem Mandviwalla, Jam Khan Shoro, Bilal Azhar Kayani, Tariq Bajwa, Imdadullah Bosal, Rashid Mahmood Langrial, and other senior officials. The budget unveiling is part of the government’s ongoing efforts to maintain fiscal discipline while supporting economic growth and development.
