A notification has been issued stating that the new date for the NEC session will be announced later. Government officials have suggested that the budget could instead be presented on either June 8 or June 12, while some National Assembly sources proposed June 10 as a possible date.

No final decision has yet been made regarding the revised schedule. The delay in both the budget presentation and the NEC meeting comes amid ongoing discussions and preparations by the government for the new fiscal year. Earlier reports indicated that the Economic Survey for the current financial year would be presented on June 4.
