During detailed scrutiny, serious irregularities were detected in the documents, prompting immigration authorities to offload the passenger and refer him for further investigation. The official said the accused was shifted to Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Anti Human Trafficking Circle (AHTC) Islamabad for legal action and further inquiry.

According to the official, investigators would also examine whether any negligence or collusion on the part of NADRA or passport authorities was involved in the issuance of the documents.
