Five Killed, 12 Injured in Karachi Roof Collapse After Cylinder Blast

In Karachi, a gas cylinder blast led to a tragic roof collapse, resulting in five fatalities and twelve injuries. This incident unfolded at Rana Colony Soldier Bazaar near Aga Khan School on Wednesday.

Witnesses reported that the force of the explosion was so powerful it caused nearby buildings to shake violently, triggering widespread panic among residents. Emergency services promptly intervened, deploying Edhi Foundation ambulances and volunteers to swiftly transport the injured to Civil Hospital for medical attention.

According to rescue sources, the deceased included Talha and a 60-year-old man named Riaz. Authorities are now conducting an investigation into the cause of the explosion to prevent such incidents from recurring. Relief efforts have been initiated by relevant agencies at the scene, aiming to provide comprehensive support to victims and their families.

The area remains under heightened security as locals express growing concern about potential future explosions in the region.
