Former Prince Andrew Quirks Like ‘Zoo Animal’ as Queen Elizabeth II Resists Abdication Requests

Andrew Mountbatten Windsor sought to resign from his position with the Royal Family after Queen Elizabeth II demanded that his daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, find jobs outside the institution.

Windsor expressed these concerns to Jeffrey Epstein through messages in 2011. One communication indicated that he viewed his brother as a “zoo animal” within the royal family—“no way for him to thrive.” The message also mentioned Queen Elizabeth’s directive to Andrew: remove himself from the royal list and secure employment.

Andrew ultimately left the Royal Family but continued to cause controversy upon relocating to Wood Farm Cottage on the Sandringham Estate. Despite assurances that his presence would not be disruptive, neighbors were quick to voice their disapproval of having a troubled former member of royalty housed in such close proximity. Security measures were implemented at the property, including installing a six-foot fence over an existing wire barrier, aimed at reassuring residents and visitors alike.
