
Gold prices surged in both local and global markets on Friday. The per tola rate rose by Rs3,000 to hit Rs497,662, while the price of 10 grams increased by Rs2,572 to reach Rs426,664.
Internationally, gold prices climbed $30 an ounce, pushing the rate up to $4,753 per ounce.
Silver also saw a rise. Locally, silver reached Rs8,014 per tola and 10 grams stood at Rs6,870. Globally, silver prices climbed to $75.30 per ounce.
