Gold Prices Surge in Pakistan Amid Global Rate Rise

Gold prices in Pakistan surged on Thursday, mirroring global market trends. In local markets, gold’s cost per tola climbed to Rs483,962 after a Rs4,400 rise.

The All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) reported 10-gram gold priced at Rs414,919, up by Rs3,772 from Wednesday’s rates.

On the previous day, gold per tola dipped to Rs479,562 amid a Rs5,500 drop. Internationally, gold’s rate climbed $44 to hit $4,616 per ounce (with a $20 premium).

Silver also saw an increase, reaching Rs7,821 per tola after a Rs55 hike.
