Governor Sindh to Provide Free Motorbikes, Mobile Phones, and Health Insurance for Karachiites

Addressing the hardships faced by victims of street crimes, Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori has announced an initiative that promises free motorbikes, mobile phones, and health insurance for affected individuals in Karachi.

Governor Tessori highlighted the urgency of such measures, revealing that over 1,700 cases of stolen vehicles were reported in Karachi in the past year alone. To avail of the initiative, individuals need to present their original Computerized National Identity Cards (CNICs) and First Information Reports (FIRs) at the Governor House.

In addition to the groundbreaking health insurance scheme, which offers free medical treatment up to Rs500,000 for victims and their families, Governor Tessori emphasized the inclusivity of the program. Anyone meeting the specified criteria can benefit from this healthcare initiative.

Governor Tessori expressed his commitment to public service, noting that he has not sought any favors in exchange for assistance since assuming office. He highlighted various ongoing initiatives, including the provision of free ration and iftar for over 500,000 individuals at the Governor House.

Furthermore, citizens of Karachi can soon expect opportunities to enhance their skill sets through free IT courses, as Governor Tessori revealed that preparations for this educational initiative are in their final phases.
