Agreements were made to modernize airport screening systems with advanced machinery. Joint counters and a unified system where all agencies operate from one point will also be introduced.
The installation of e-gates was reviewed for faster clearance and reduced immigration processing time. Naqvi emphasized the importance of joint screening through single scanners, which would save time and significantly reduce queues at airports.
