Federal Minister for Climate Change, Dr Musadik Malik, stated on Monday that Pakistan’s government is providing relief to low-income groups through petroleum subsidies for motorcyclists and rickshaw drivers. He also mentioned free bus services in major cities due to special measures by the federal government.
Regarding the US-Iran conflict, Malik emphasized Pakistan’s leadership’s sincere efforts towards dialogue facilitation and peace in the region. The minister added that the ongoing war is adversely affecting global economy and development.
The credit for uninterrupted petroleum supply chain goes to the Ministry of Petroleum, according to Dr Malik. He reiterated that all-out efforts are being made to improve the country’s economy and boost exports.
