Prince Harry continues to harbor deep-seated frustrations with his elder brother William, as their relationship remains at an all-time low despite nearly a decade of separation.
Having distanced himself from the Royal Family back in 2020 along with wife Meghan and their son Archie, Harry has been vocal about their grievances. They accused the monarchy of being racially insensitive toward Archie and shared these sentiments publicly on television. Since then, they have settled in California and welcomed a daughter, Princess Lilibet.
This year, royal author Omid Scobie commented on the situation, reiterating Harry’s ongoing dissatisfaction. “Nothing has changed since 2023,” Scobie stated. “Back then, I spoke to PEOPLE about how Harry was still waiting for William to take that crucial step towards accountability and communication.”
The author elaborated further: “Harry’s expectations and desires remain the same as they were back in 2023—none of them have been fulfilled.”
In the landscape of royal familial dynamics, Prince Harry’s current stance reflects a long-standing issue rooted deeply within their relationship. As William has yet to extend an olive branch to his younger brother, tensions persist, casting doubt on whether a resolution is imminent or if this rift could further widen in the future.
