Islamabad HC Ends Lawyers’ Gown Requirement Until April 1, 2026

Islamabad High Court lifts requirement for lawyers to wear gowns during court proceedings as of April 1, 2026. Chief Justice’s orders led to this change, announced by Deputy Registrar General in an official notification. Lawyers will no longer be required to don gowns, with the tradition suspended until further notice.
