
The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has announced an exciting opportunity for Pakistani and AJK students to pursue higher education at the prestigious University of Politehnica in Romania for the academic year 2024-25. These scholarships, generously offered by the Romanian Government, are available for Master’s and PhD programs specializing in Engineering and Information Technology fields.
To qualify for the Master’s program, applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree (16 years) and be under 35 years old at the time of application. For the PhD/Doctoral program, candidates should have a Masters degree MS/MPhil (17/18 years) and be under 40 years old upon application. Additionally, all applicants are required to provide a valid HAT test score.
The University of Politehnica Bucharest offers a wide range of programs, including Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunication and Information Technology, Aerospace Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Computer & Information Technology, System Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Applied Engineering Science, Engineering and Management.
Interested candidates are encouraged to apply online through the HEC portal at https://scholarship.hec.gov.pk/. Upon registration and completion of their profile, applicants should select the “University of Politehnica Scholarship” option. The deadline for submitting online applications on the HEC portal is May 3, 2024.
