Meteorological Department forecasts hot and humid weather in Karachi today, with temperatures expected to reach 38 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature recorded was 29.8°C, while current temperature stands at 31°C.
Humidity has been recorded at 75%, making the heat feel more intense. Winds are blowing at a speed of 20 kilometres per hour, but weather conditions are expected to remain hot and humid throughout the day.
The department predicts dry and hot weather across most parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with chances of strong winds and thundershowers in some upper and plain districts.
In Peshawar, current temperature recorded at 28°C, expected to rise to 36°C during the day. Humidity measured at 51%.
Temperatures across other areas include Chitral at 11°C, Dir at 14°C, Malam Jabba at 18°C, Saidu Sharif at 22°C, Bannu at 27°C, Dera Ismail Khan at 29°C, and Abbottabad at 22°C.
The department advises citizens to take precautionary measures during the heat and avoid unnecessary exposure to direct sunlight.
