Huawei Pakistan, in partnership with the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, has launched a large-scale ICT training initiative targeting students from grades 6 to 10 across Islamabad Model Schools and Colleges.
The programme, part of the Prime Minister’s national digital transformation strategy, aims to train more than 300,000 students, with a strong focus on Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
Delivered under the Federal Directorate of Education, the initiative includes a “Train the Trainer” component and outlines a structured digital roadmap for educational institutions.
Students must register by May 27 via the Huawei Talent platform using unique email addresses and mobile numbers. A mandatory introductory module on artificial intelligence, “AI Basics,” will be completed ahead of the summer break.
Additional coursework in areas such as 5G, IoT, cloud computing, and cybersecurity will follow throughout the academic year. Participants will receive certification upon completion, aimed at bolstering early digital literacy and strengthening Pakistan’s future tech talent pipeline.
