A government girls school in Hyderabad has been shortlisted among the world’s best schools. The recognition comes from the World’s Best School Prizes organized by T4 Education, which acknowledges outstanding achievements in improving education standards and creating positive social impact.
This year, only two Pakistani schools made it to the final stage of the prestigious awards, with one private school from Punjab and this government school from Sindh being among them. The Government Girls Lower Secondary School Tando Mir Ghulam Hussain is now a finalist in the Community Collaboration category for 2026.
Sindh Education Minister Syed Sardar Ali Shah praised the school administration, principal, teachers, students, parents, and local community for their achievement, stating it’s not just a success for one school but also a matter of pride for Sindh’s education system, government schools, and Pakistan.
