Hyderabad police shot dead four suspects on Saturday during an encounter. The incident is the third of its kind in three-and-a-half years, with Hyderabad police previously executing four suspects over a bus robbery in October 2022 and another four in October 2025 for killing a teenager in Karachi.

The police spokesman, Inspector Shahid Usman, stated that Tandojam’s SHO led an exchange of fire with seven armed suspects on the Tando Qaisar link road. Reinforcements from Tando Yousuf and Rahuki joined the fray, resulting in four deaths and three escapes.
