IG Sindh: More Prominent Names May Surface in Pinky Case

IG Sindh Police Javed Alam Odho stated that Anmol alias Pinky mostly resided in Lahore and several prominent individuals were connected to her case. He spoke at the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, emphasizing efforts with the Sindh government to combat narcotics, noting over 1,000 criminals had been arrested.

He differentiated between drug users and dealers, insisting those involved in the trade would not be spared. A task force is being formed; citizens urged to provide any relevant information.

Regarding Pinky’s case, Odho warned more names could emerge, urging media not to glamorize her as if she were a film character. He also announced Operation Nijat Mehran in riverine areas, resulting in over 600 dacoits killed, arrested, or surrendered. No-go areas remain in Sindh; law and order in Karachi has significantly improved.
