Indian Forces Demolish Muslim Homes in Occupied Kashmir
The occupying administration in Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir has demolished dozens of Muslim homes, according to The Telegraph Online report. These 20 to 30 houses covering 60 kanals were declared as forest land.
Javed Rana, the region’s forest minister, criticized the operation, calling it discriminatory and harsh. He stated that many affected families had lived on the land for decades, while the demolitions were carried out without regard for residents’ long-standing presence in the area.
Rana further added that these demolitions targeting tribal and Muslim families are part of a broader effort to intimidate residents and force displacement in the region.
Experts believe that the brutal actions by the occupying Indian administration aim to maintain an atmosphere of fear and change the demographic balance. India’s illegal occupation of Kashmir has a shameful history of brutal atrocities against Muslims, which cannot go unanswered by the international community.
