inDrive, a global mobility and services platform, hosted an offline learning event in Karachi, bringing together top drivers and local digital creators as part of its ongoing efforts to support drivers beyond their work on the road. The event followed the rollout of inDrive’s digital education initiative, launched on the LearnOnline.pk platform, which provided drivers with access to free online courses focused on practical skill-building and future opportunities.
During the event, invited experts and influencers, including Ismailblogger, Rehan Allahwala, Imran Ali Dina, Sajjad Khan, and Waqar Siddiqui, shared their personal journeys, practical insights, and learning experiences, offering guidance on how drivers can apply digital knowledge in everyday life and explore new avenues for growth.
Commenting on the initiative, Awais Saeed, Country Manager, inDrive Pakistan said: “By extending access to digital education and creating spaces for learning and dialogue, we aim to help our drivers unlock new opportunities for themselves and their families. With initiatives like this, we want to empower our drivers with skills that can enhance their livelihoods and contribute to their personal and professional development.”
To further support learning at home, inDrive awarded a laptop to the top driver in the learning program. The laptop was won by Muzafar Shah, an inDrive driver who has been associated with the platform for more than three years.
“My son had been asking for a laptop for some time, and I wasn’t sure I could afford one,” shared Muzaffar. “Winning this means I can finally support his studies, and my wife can explore educational content and develop new skills. This will benefit our whole family. Programs like this empower us and open new opportunities. I hope to see more initiatives focused on learning and development.”
