Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has condemned the attack on the vehicle of former Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice (retired) Qazi Faez Isa, in London. Naqvi instructed the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) to take immediate steps to identify the attackers, including reviewing available footage of the incident.

The minister confirmed that a vehicle belonging to the Pakistani High Commission in London was also targeted. Expressing concern over the lack of security despite prior threats to Qazi Faez Isa, Naqvi assured that an FIR will be registered in Pakistan, and the attackers’ identity cards and passports would be blocked.

He further announced measures to strip the assailants of their Pakistani citizenship, with the case to be sent to the cabinet for approval. The attack occurred as PTI activists reportedly attempted to obstruct and damage Qazi Faez Isa’s car en route to a ceremony at the Middle Temple in London, where senior PTI leaders addressed the crowd of protesters.
