Iran has announced live-fire military exercises near the strategic Strait of Hormuz, extending a five-nautical-mile zone from ground level up to 25,000 feet. The maneuvers are scheduled from January 27 to 29 and airspace in this area is considered hazardous during the period.

Washington officials have stated that all options, including military action, remain on the table amid rising tensions.
