Iran Guards Report Strikes on Bahrain, UAE Aluminium Plants Over US-Israeli Attack

Iran’s Revolutionary Guards announced missile and drone strikes on aluminum plants in Bahrain and UAE over the weekend. The IRGC stated these attacks were retaliation for a US-Israeli assault on Iranian industrial infrastructure from Gulf state bases.

Aluminium Bahrain, one of the world’s largest producers, reported two employees sustained minor injuries after an Iranian strike targeted its facility on Saturday. Since February’s Middle East war began, regular retaliatory strikes by Iran have been launched against Bahrain and other Gulf nations.

The IRGC further claimed these attacks were in response to a US-Israeli campaign targeting Iranian industrial infrastructure for the past month. President Trump has warned of hitting Iranian power stations and energy facilities if Iran does not open the Strait of Hormuz, but extended the deadline for this action by 10 days.
