Iran has cautioned the United Arab Emirates against strengthening ties with Israel amid escalating tensions in the Middle East. Mohsen Rezaei, military secretary to Iran’s supreme leader, stated that while Tehran remains open to friendly relations with Abu Dhabi, it cannot tolerate Israeli conspiracies.
Rezaei also accused the US of a strategy aimed at instilling fear among regional countries and affirmed that the Strait of Hormuz is open for trade but not for military aggression. He questioned who America considers its enemy in the Middle East, referring to previous deployments against the former Soviet Union.
During recent conflicts involving Iran, Israel, and the United States, reports suggest intense Iranian attacks on the UAE while some indications point to potential UAE military responses. Earlier, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi accused the UAE of involvement in anti-Iran activities and criticized it for not condemning attacks on Iran.
