Iranian Ambassador Reza Amiri Moqadam has expressed gratitude to Pakistan’s civil and military leadership for their mediation efforts aimed at de-escalating US-Iran tensions and ending regional conflict.
In a statement on X, the Iranian envoy said, “A few minutes ago, Interior Minister of Pakistan, my dear brother, Mohsin Naqvi Sahib, congratulated me on the success of negotiations with authorities of my country after returning from Tehran.”
Ambassador Amiri expressed cautious optimism, stating that if the other side demonstrates appropriate determination and commitment, a positive development is taking shape. This outcome is attributed to Iran’s dignified stance, its armed forces’ steadfastness, the Iranian nation’s courage, and Pakistan’s mediation efforts.
The ambassador emphasized his gratitude to all Pakistani officials involved in these efforts, including Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff, Chief of Defence Forces, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar, and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.
