Israeli Attack Kills Three Police Officers in Maghazi Refugee Camp

An Israeli attack on a vehicle in central Gaza Strip has resulted in three Palestinians being killed and several injured, according to the Palestinian Interior Ministry. The victims were all police officers, including Captain Mansour Sami Shahtout, Captain Mohammed Khaled Nofal, and First Sergeant Mahdi Nader Jabr.

The attack occurred near the entrance of the Maghazi refugee camp on Friday. A ministry statement published on Telegram condemned the “treacherous bombing” by Israeli forces, while news agencies reported that an Israeli combat drone fired at least two missiles at the vehicle, causing it to catch fire.

Witnesses said a civilian vehicle was set ablaze after being struck on Salah al-Din Street at the entrance of Maghazi camp. The bodies were taken to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir el-Balah.

The Interior Ministry condemned the “heinous crime” committed by Israeli occupation forces, targeting civil police personnel and causing chaos across Gaza. It called for international community and guarantor states of the ceasefire agreement to pressure Israel to cease attacks on the police force and its resources.

US-brokered “ceasefire” agreement has been in effect since October 10, 2025, despite reported violations by Israel. Hamas is consulting with other Palestinian factions and regional mediators to ensure full implementation of the Gaza ceasefire agreement.
