Israeli Strikes Kill Nine Palestinians in Gaza
Medics reported Israeli planes launched strikes on four apartments around dawn Thursday, killing at least nine people and injuring 15 others. One attack specifically targeted a family, resulting in five fatalities.
The Israeli military did not immediately comment on the incidents. Footage showed one building heavily damaged with furniture inside burned. A video circulated on social media, though unverified by Reuters, depicted individuals entering an apartment set ablaze to recover bodies with blankets.
Despite U.S. President Donald Trump’s ceasefire efforts, Israeli attacks in Gaza have continued unabated. The conflict began in October 2023 following Hamas attacks on southern Israel. Since the truce started, over 930 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli strikes, according to Gaza health officials. Four Israeli soldiers were also killed during this period by militants.
