John Legend Discusses Predicting ‘Voice’ Winners

John Legend, a Grammy-winning artist at 47, revealed in an interview that his intuition guided him to predict the semi-finalists for “The Voice: Battle of Champions.” He identified KJ Willis, Syd Millevoi, and Lucas West as his top three singers after blind auditions.

Legend explained that while some contestants might surprise him later in the competition, he was confident about these three artists’ performances during the blind auditions. Each artist is exceptionally talented and brings a unique element to the show, according to Legend.

The nine finalists competing for season 29 of “The Voice” include Team Legend’s Willis, Millevoi, and West; Team Adam’s Alexia Jayy, Jared Shoemaker, and Jeremy Keith; and Team Kelly’s JW Griffin, Liv Ciara, and Mikenley Brown.

As the contestants prepare for the semi-finals, they reflect on their personal growth and individuality. Millevoi emphasizes staying true to herself amidst high-stress situations, while Legend stresses that being authentic is a superpower. The show airs its semi-final round on April 13 on NBC.
