A joint operation between Pakistani and Qatari law enforcement agencies intercepted a significant smuggling attempt involving 4.482kg of cocaine at Islamabad International Airport on Wednesday. The intelligence-led initiative involved collaboration with the narcotics agency (ANF) in Pakistan and their counterparts from Qatar.

The suspects were arrested near the airport’s arrivals lounge, with one individual identified as Seharish Bano, a Pakistani woman traveling from Sharjah to Islamabad through Doha. Her trolley bag was meticulously searched, revealing the illicit shipment of cocaine hidden within her luggage.
