Kahna Police Arrest Acid Attack Suspect Using Modern Tech

Police have nabbed the prime suspect in an acid attack that occurred on Wednesday in Kahna. According to officials, Rubina Bibi, a 30-year-old woman, was arrested from Ghulam Hussain Colony using advanced investigative techniques. SP Shehrbano Naqvi of Model Town had established a special task force for her arrest.

Sufiyana, identified as the victim and also 30 years old, had previously maintained a close relationship with Rubina. Recently married to another woman, Sufiyana is alleged to have triggered resentment from her ex-partner.

Preliminary inquiries indicate that Rubina called Sufiyana under pretenses, allegedly pouring acid on her during an encounter at her home. The victim suffered severe burns and injuries due to the corrosive substance, which left parts of her body and clothes disfigured. Medical assistance was promptly provided.

A case has been registered against Rubina Bibi, and further investigations are ongoing. Authorities emphasize that evidence is being collected to conclude the legal process swiftly. SP Shehrbano Naqvi underscored her firm stance on those who endanger others’ lives, stating they will be dealt with strictly in accordance with the law.
