Karachi is currently experiencing bright sunshine with stronger-than-usual winds. Northeast winds are reaching speeds of up to 30 kilometers per hour, while southwest sea winds may return later in the day. Temperatures over the next three days are expected to range between 17°C and 30°C.
Officials forecast dry weather with cool nights for the coming days, advising residents to take precautions against high daytime temperatures and gusty winds. According to state broadcaster Radio Pakistan, mainly cold and dry conditions are expected across most parts of Pakistan over the next twelve hours. Very cold conditions are likely during the night and morning hours in hilly areas.
Major cities recorded temperature this morning: Islamabad at 7°C, Peshawar at 7°C, Lahore at 11°C, Karachi at 17°C, Quetta at 3°C, Gilgit at 2°C, Murree at 0°C, and Muzaffarabad at 4°C.
On Tuesday, the Meteorological Department forecasted isolated rain and light snowfall in Gilgit-Baltistan, upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Murree, Galiyat, and surrounding areas. In Islamabad, cold and partly cloudy conditions are expected with light rain or drizzle possible at isolated places during the afternoon and evening. Meanwhile, K-P is likely to experience largely cold and dry weather, while light rain or snowfall may occur in Mansehra, Abbottabad, Battagram, Kohistan, Dir, Swat, and nearby areas.
