Karachi Inter Students to Get Grace Marks

A parliamentary committee of the Sindh Assembly has decided to grant grace marks to first-year intermediate students in Karachi who did not pass their annual exams.

This was announced after a fact-finding committee, led by Dr. Sarosh Lodi, raised concerns about the procedures and administrative structure of the Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK). The committee was formed to investigate the exam results and assess potential irregularities.

Following a meeting on the issue, Sindh Education Minister Syed Sardar Ali Shah stated that Dr. Lodi’s committee had submitted its findings, highlighting various concerns about BIEK’s administration. Based on these findings, Shah announced that students who had failed would receive grace marks.
