Karachi: Liaquatabad Residents Protest Power Outage, Block Roads

Frustrated by a prolonged power outage in Bandhani Colony, residents of Karachi’s Liaquatabad town area took to the streets on Saturday, blocking roads to voice their grievances.

The protest action led to the suspension of traffic flow on the road stretching from Hasan Square to Liaquatabad as demonstrators vented their frustration over the lack of electricity in their locality.

The ripple effect of the protest was felt on surrounding roads, causing disruptions to traffic movement. Additionally, access to the Gharibabad furniture market was restricted as a result of the road closures prompted by the protest.
