The incident unfolded near the Malir Sharafi Goth police station precincts, with eyewitnesses reporting a loud explosion followed by gunfire. Police and rescue teams quickly responded, transferring the injured to Jinnah Hospital for medical treatment.

One of the deceased assailants was identified as a suicide bomber, while the other was killed in a police encounter. The injured security guards, Noor Muhammad and Langar Khan, both aged 45, sustained gunshot wounds, with Noor succumbing to his injuries during treatment.

According to police spokesperson Abrar Hussain Baloch, law enforcement personnel intervened swiftly upon hearing the explosion. The police are collecting fingerprints to identify the slain terrorist through the Talaash app and NADRA, while also recovering a bag containing hand grenades from the assailants.

Security measures in the area have been heightened, with law enforcement agencies on high alert to prevent any further threats to public safety. Investigations are ongoing to determine the motives behind the attack and identify any potential accomplices.
