King Charles III maintains strict controls over his farm regarding agricultural health, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to environmental sustainability. As a celebrated environmentalist, he has implemented stringent policies against the use of chemical pesticides on his estate. The i Paper recently paid a visit to the King’s Gloucestershire property and observed expert Daniel Windham writing for The Mirror, who elaborated: “Chemical pesticides are entirely prohibited, with plants and soil nurtured through organic methods. Irrigation is watered by rainwater collected from the main residence, ensuring that resources are conserved and waste is minimized. This system supports a flourishing walled kitchen garden within the estate’s meticulously maintained grounds.”

Daniel further explained, “Instead of striving for perfection, gardeners embrace nature’s process. Imperfections are not corrected or removed; instead, they are embraced as part of the natural cycle.” To add a whimsical element to his gardens, King Charles III has positioned a garden gnome that he regularly moves throughout the property, interspersed among woodland plantings and within an extensive collection of 160 broadleaf hosta varieties.
