KP CM Afridi Stresses National Interest Amid Federal Policies Criticism

Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sohail Afridi emphasized national interest over political gains in a cabinet meeting. He criticized federal policies, accusing current leadership of prioritizing personal interests and alleged mistreatment of Imran Khan’s family members.

Afridi warned of boycott if issues persist, stating that his government has risked political capital for the country’s sake. The annual development program for fiscal year 2026-27 is nearing completion, with public participation emphasized through digital platforms from May 4 to May 8.
