KP CM Sohail Afridi Calls for Transparent Elections Amid Allegations of Harassment and Restrictions in GB

KP Chief Minister Sohail Afridi has penned a letter to the Chief Justice of the Gilgit-Baltistan Supreme Appellate Court, seeking immediate judicial intervention. The letter highlights concerns over an electoral environment that is allegedly opaque and unfair.

It alleges that one political party faces significant obstacles in conducting its activities, including public gatherings and election campaigns. There are also claims of unlawful arrests targeting political workers.
