Iran confirmed the US attack, stating it targeted a US air base at 4:50 am after an early morning strike near Bandar Abbas airport. The specific location of the base was not disclosed.
Kuwait, which hosts a US air base, did not attribute the threats to Iran. Gulf countries, including Kuwait, experienced missile and drone attacks during the US-Israel war on Iran.
