KW&SC appoints Ahmed Ali Siddiqui as interim MD

The Board of Directors of Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation (KW&SC) has accepted the resignation of Syed Salahuddin Ahmed, the former MD/CEO, effective March 3, 2025.

In the interim, Ahmed Ali Siddiqui, a senior officer of PAS and the current Deputy Commissioner of East, has been appointed as the Managing Director/CEO until a permanent appointment is made through a competitive process, as outlined in the Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation Act, 2023.

This decision was made on the recommendation of the Sindh government and approved by the KW&SC Board, with the office order signed by Abdul Raqeeb, Board Secretary.
