Lahore Board Launches Automated Practical Exam System
The Lahore Board has introduced an automated system for practical examinations. This initiative is part of efforts to digitize the education system, as directed by Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat and Chairman Task Force Committee for Boards Muzammil Mahmood.
Under this new system, examiners’ duties will be assigned through a computerized process. Officials say this mechanism will help eliminate favoritism, ensuring no examiner can secure duty at a center of personal choice.
Transparency in the examination process has also been ensured under the direction of Provincial Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat. The Board is set to shift all practical exams to a central marking system as preparations are completed.
